Annual conference of ILGA-Europe has started

After a two-year pandemic break, the next face-to-face conference of the ILGA-Europe organization has finally taken place.

This year's host of the annual conference, which brings together about 300 people from different countries, is the city of Sofia, Bulgaria.

Although the event was planned for 2020, it was postponed because of the pandemic related measures.

This year's conference will be held on October 19-22 with the slogan "Shaping the World to Come". Russia's war against Ukraine and its effects on the LGBTQ+ community are widely discussed in the program of the event. At the opening ceremony of the conference, the participants expressed solidarity with Ukraine.
