Hate speech from MPs in 2022

During the Spring Session of 2022, the hate speeches directed at the LGBTI+ community by the deputies of the Milli Majlis were monitored by the Majlis.Info initiative.

Deputies Eldar Guliyev, Tahir Rzayev, Javid Osmanov and Tahir Karimli were in the spotlight for their speeches against LGBTI+ and feminists.

In their speeches, the deputies demanded that LGBTI+ people should not be provided with jobs, that they should be isolated from society, that they should be "treated" and they also took a position against the Istanbul Convention.
