Independent media supported LGBTI+ Russians
On the day when the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation is going to designate LGBTI+ Russians as extremists, independent media have repainted their logos in a rainbow.
As a sign of solidarity with the LGBTI+ community, leading independent Russian media outlets have changed their logos to include rainbow colours.
Among the media outlets that supported the community were Sota, Bumaga, Meduza, Mediazona, Novaya Gazeta Europe, Agency, Dozhd, OVD-Info, Wonderzine, Khodorkovsky LIVE, Project, “We Can Explain,” Lens, Freedom Letters publishing house and many others. And even Ksenia Sobchak in her personal channel “Bloody Lady”. Also, many human rights organizations supported queer Russians: for example, Memorial and First Department.
