Grindr expands
Gay dating turns into a media platform
Grindr is transforming its app into a “hub of gay culture” with exclusive and uncensored shows.
The popular gay dating app has launched “Grindr Presents” — an in-app media hub bringing together all of the platform’s original content, from videos and editorial articles to music releases and exclusive premieres. All of this will be available directly within the app.
According to Grindr, the main highlight of the media hub is its uncensored shows — such as Who’s the Asshole, hosted by Katya Zamolodchikova, a popular drag queen — which cannot be seen on YouTube or Instagram. In the app, these will be presented in full format — longer, sharper, and exactly as the creators intended.
The company emphasises that “Grindr Presents” is part of its strategy to turn dating into not just a place to meet people, but a “hub of gay culture” where authentic queer content can be found without censorship. To access the media hub, simply open the app’s side menu and tap on “Grindr Presents.”
