Phobic statement from Kamran Agabalayev

Well-known actor Kamran Agabalayev appeared as a guest on the program Agenda with Rovshana (Rövşanə ilə Gündəm) on Barometr TV. He had transphobic remarks in response to host Rovshana Agasafqizi’s question: “What is your attitude towards gays?”

“You’ve seen someone who puts on his mother’s clothes, sits at home, makes dumplings? But then goes out and does prostitution. If you feel like a woman, does it mean you must only be a prostitute? If feeling like a woman is just about prostitution, then don’t feel like a woman, there’s no need.”
