“My Labour Rights” project

“My Labour Rights” project announced an open call for participation.

The "My Labour Rights" project has announced an open call for participation in a training session aimed at educating LGBTQI+s on their labour rights. The training session, which is organised by Rauf Heydarov's initiative, aims to provide answers to the questions of how LGBTQI+s can protect their labour rights in the labour market and how these rights apply in the reality of the community.

The training will be conducted in two parts, the first part will provide theoretical information, followed by a coffee break, and the second part will be the practical application of the theoretical part. The trainer for the session will be Vafa Rustam, an expert in women's rights.

The training session will take place on April 8th at Sat Plaza, Baku Community Space, from 17:00 to 20:00. Those who are interested in attending the session can register by following the link.

The "My Labour Rights" project is one of the winners of the small grants competition held within the framework of the "LGBTI+s demand: mental health and justice" program of Nafas LGBTI Azerbaijan Alliance.

As stated in Article 35 of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, every individual has the right to work under safe and secure conditions without discrimination. This training session aims to educate LGBTQI+s on their labour rights and provide practical ways of protecting them in the labour market.
