AKP and Yeniden Refah signed a protocol

The AKP and Yeniden Refah Party signed a protocol on legal regulations to prevent actions against spiritual values in Türkiye. This was reported by Kaos GL.

Human rights activists are concerned about a possible crackdown on LGBTI+ individuals and organisations.

The Yeniden Refah joined the People's Alliance after announcing their independent candidacy. The protocol was signed before the alliance protocol was presented to the YSK.

The AKP is under pressure to repeal Law No. 6284 on the Protection of the Family and Prevention of Violence Against Women. The accepted demands include eliminating contradictory provisions, legal regulations, and making public health agreements compatible with national interests.
