Starbucks bans queer workers from unionising

The Starbucks Workers United Association announced penalties for employees who join the “rainbow” union. According to them, Starbucks is engaged in rainbow washing - on the outside it declares itself to be a friendly company, but on the inside it is not at all like that.

According to LGBTQNation, several thousand baristas from 9 thousand Starbucks Workers United coffee shops tried to organize an LGBT barista union. But the company began to punish its participants.
