Daughter of Cameroon's President comes out

In a country where homosexual relationships are considered a crime, President Paul Biya's daughter, Brenda Biya, officially shared a photo on her social media account on June 30, in which she is seen kissing her female partner. She noted: "I love you crazy and I want the world to know."

Homosexuality is considered a crime in Cameroon, and individuals in same-sex sexual or romantic relationships can be sentenced to up to five years in prison. The country's queer community systematically faces violence and discrimination.

Social media users have regretfully commented that "laws are only for the poor." Some users, however, applaud her bravery and are glad to see her standing with the community.

So, do you think the president's daughter should be imprisoned like other queers?
