"Corridor with cabinets III" by Joshua Serafin

Now on view at Kunstmuseum Den Haag, Corridor with cabinets III features Void, a captivating performance by Joshua Serafin. Through striking choreography, Serafin introduces Void—a humanlike, fluid entity and futuristic god/dess—who arrives on Earth to explore the meaning of divinity in the present day.

Merging myth and futurism, Serafin looks to ancient cosmologies to project a speculative image of humanity’s future. Void is not only a performance, but an alter ego—embodying transformation, queerness, and spiritual inquiry.

A deeply evocative work that blurs the line between ritual, performance, and identity.
