Russia fined TikTok for LGBTQI+ content
A Moscow court has fined TikTok for failing to properly censor content. While a brief press release cites a fine of 3.5 million rubles, media reports indicate that the case involves LGBTQI+ content.
"On June 30, 2026, the Tagansky District Court of Moscow found TikTok Pte. Ltd. guilty of an administrative offense under Part 2 of Article 13.50 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (violation of the procedure for restricting access to information or information resources that are subject to access restrictions under Russian law).
The court imposed an administrative penalty in the form of a fine of 3,500,000 rubles," the press service of Moscow's courts of general jurisdiction reported.
