Y-PEER Azerbaijan offers psycho-social counseling service

Y-PEER Azerbaijan has been offering psycho-social counseling services for some time now. Anyone in need of psychosocial support can use the service by following the link.

According to Y-PEER Azerbaijan, the confidentiality of applicants is fully protected.

The service "was established as part of a gender-based capacity building and empowerment program to address LGBTQI-related social counseling around gender identity and sexual orientation and other social, mental, legal challenges, sexual and reproductive health questions and concerns," said Y-PEER Azerbaijan.

"The service provides social counseling and referral to other quality and reliable medical, legal, psychological and social support as needed." The services and consultations offered by Y-PEER Azerbaijan are provided free of charge by two social workers.

Within a week of filling out the form, Y-PEER social workers will contact you and invite you to the first meeting. After this meeting, you will be referred to the services that are relevant to the issue you want to work on, or a decision will be made for the next meeting.

Y-PEER Azerbaijan aims to establish solidarity of young people to fight against all forms of violence and discrimination, to promote rights of women and queers, sexual health and freedoms in order to build more healthy, safe and just society in Azerbaijan.
