Student Initiative hangs a rainbow flag on Galata Bridge

The Student Initiative hung a rainbow flag on Galata Bridge against attacks against LGBTI+s in Turkey.

On the rainbow flag, it says “Get used to it, We are here!, Student Initiative”.

Initiative shared the flag photographs with the description saying "Our answer to homophobia and transphobia, to the separating policies of the ruling bloc is clear: LGBTI+s exist! Our Boğaziçi Resistance and our colours cannot be banned by detentions, arrests, and pressure. We are in art, on campus, on the street, in all parts of life. Get used to it, We are here!".
