October 8 is Lesbian Day!

Celebrated on October 8, International Lesbian Day is a day when lesbians around the world celebrate their history, diversity and culture.

Some say that this day was first celebrated in New Zealand in 1980, and others in Australia in 1990.

Every year on this day, the lesbian community and their allies hold various events and celebrations to highlight the importance of community building and promote lesbian rights and health issues.

On the occasion of this significant day, Minority Azerbaijan recommends reading the novel "My Body Wanted So" by Aylin Weiss, which is about a lesbian love story.
