LGBTI+ individuals are not being provided with tents in Türkiye

Özgül Saki from the Association of Disaster Volunteers spoke to Bianet media about the lack of tents for LGBTI+ people. 

"Even among the solidarity volunteers, LGBTI+ individuals were not given tasks, they were treated as if they did not exist, and were asked to be invisible."

LGBTI+ victims of the earthquake have experienced many problems while expressing their demands. 

"Tents are not being provided. People enter LGBTI+ food queues, while they line up very leery. Homophobia is very high in Islahiye," said Özgül Saki.
