Diesel released a pride collection with Tom of Finland

Italian clothing brand Diesel is celebrating Pride Month by partnering with queer artist Touko Laaksonen's foundation.

This will be Diesel's third collaboration with the artist during Pride Month. The Tom of Finland Foundation is a non-profit foundation created to preserve the erotic works of artist Touko Laaksonen, known as Tom of Finland.

Many queer people, especially from the gay and bi communities, are familiar with his work. Touko Valio Laaksonen, better known under the pseudonym Tom of Finland, is a Finnish artist who influenced the homosexual subculture with his numerous homo-pornographic drawings.

Diesel announced the "Diesel&Tom of Finland Foundation Pride" clothing collection, designed specifically to honor the LGBTQ+ community. Through this partnership, Diesel said the brand aims to reinforce its message of freedom of speech, sexuality and individualism, while celebrating the foundation's 40th anniversary.
