Murad Arif and Samra shared about the late Rüzgar
Singer and composer Murad Arif and singer Samra Rahimli shared about Rüzgar, who was hate-crimed on November 4, on their Instagram accounts.
Murad Arif wrote:
“A young Queer young person was stabbed to death by his uncle in Baku. He was 19 years old. He was full of life. He had his own life, his own choices, his own rights. But because he was different, his life was cut short. As a society, we have a long way to go. Instead of “hatred”, we still need to learn “UNDERSTANDING AND LOVE”. But this “child”’s” life will not return. Unfortunately…
HOMOPHOBIA KILLS!”

Samra Rahimli (Samra) noted:
“A young person’s life was taken by hatred… A 19-year-old person lost his life simply for being himself. No one should die for being himself. Love is not a sin. May your soul rest in peace, Rüzgar.
Everyone is born free and equal in terms of human values and rights! Every person has the right to live safely!
We are equal!
Neither less nor more
We are equal
No superiority!!!”
