Grindr Unwrapped 2025

The world's largest queer platform has released its 2025 "Unwrapped" report. This time, the activity and behavioral trends created by millions of users on the application throughout the year provide a broad statistical picture. The platform said that the results achieved this year show that the number of users and mutual communication is at a record level.

According to the report, 135 billion messages were sent on Grindr in 2025, 12.8 billion "taps". In addition, more than 32 thousand users participated in surveys conducted in various categories. This is three times more than last year.

The most striking statistics of the year

• The most searched profile tag: Hung 
• The most popular zodiac sign: Scorpio - a combination of secrecy, passion and popularity was reflected in the choice of users.
• Country with the most nude photos: Finland
• Most open relationships: South Korea
• Most twink profiles: Switzerland
• Most feet: Italy
• Most hung bottoms: France. The US and UK are back in the top five after a long hiatus.
• Most daddy claims: US
• Favorite profile music: Cardi B – W.A.P.
• Most visited city (roaming): Paris
• Most popular “gaycation” destination: London

Pop culture results

In 2025, Grindr also introduced new categories, and the results reflect pop culture trends that the queer community has been following throughout the year:

• “Mother” of the Year: Lady Gaga
• “Mother-in-Training” of the Year: Sabrina Carpenter
• “Daddy” of the Year: Pedro Pascal
• “Hottest Man” of the Year: Jonathan Bailey
• “Girl Group” of the Year: KATSEYE
• “Album” of the Year: Lady Gaga – Mayhem
• “Best Bulge”: Bad Bunny’s Calvin Klein ad
• “Porn Star” of the Year: Joey Mills
• “Viral Sound Bite” of the Year: Jet2holiday

The report also shows that Grindr usage increased significantly during Lady Gaga’s “Monster Ball Tour” show. Activity on concert nights increased by about 7%.

According to Grindr, this year's results provide a clearer picture of the behavioral trends, aesthetics, and pop culture preferences of the global queer community on the platform.
