The space aims to unite artists from Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia, concentrating on social issues and changes trough art from South Caucasus.

Giorgi will talk about performance as tool for dealing with the problems from different angle even though the reality around the situation stays the same. Based on his military performance experience called "find a performer".

He will also discuss power patterns in performance and how it might be used for controlling over the group of people or the whole society. What type of repetitive performance patterns we do in our communities that could be rethought.  The simplest daily actions could be confused or forgotten when someone tells us to perform them. Like the beginner soldier can’t turn left, when the captain orders him to do so.

Performance workshop “MILITARY CLASS” with Giorgi Rodionov

Military class is the participative performance piece trying to research human behavior in militaristic structures while being new in army or being outside of it.
How well do we know which one is right or left? How well do we know how to walk “properly” or to talk “properly”? How well do we know who is always right - no matter what?
The artist with the piece is trying to question the awareness of the micro “educational” systems in our societies forming the general shape of our mind.

In a 1-day performance workshop where the participants will be asked to follow the instructions for the whole set of time schedule.
