Ellen Page and Kate Mara find love in a hopeless place in “My Days of Mercy”

When Rihanna sang “We found love in a hopeless place,” even she probably couldn’t have imagined finding it in a place as hopeless as the opposing sides of a death penalty protest.

But that’s the setting of My Days of Mercy, a new lesbian romance drama starring Academy Award nominee Ellen Page (Tales of the City, The Umbrella Academy) and Kate Mara (House of Cards, Pose).
