Gender Resource Centre presented the “Menstruation book”

Gender Resource Centre published the book “Menstruation: What we need to know” which they have been working on together with Y-PEER since the beginning of this year. The center said it wanted the book to reach more communities and individuals, given the limited resources available to adolescents and young people on sexual and reproductive health and rights.

The text of the book was written by Sevinj Samadzade and Saadat Abdullazade. The editor of the book is Aynur Zarrintaj, and the author of the illustrations is Mujgan Abulzade.

The presentation of the book took place on August 31 at 18:00 in the office of the Gender Resource Center.

“Menstruation Book” is available free of charge at the center's office or can be downloaded from their webpage.

Gender Resource Centre is a queer-feminist platform and established in response to the lack of safe space and resources for people of different genders and sexual orientations in Azerbaijan.
