Rovshana Rahimli, an expert-lawyer practitioner specialized in domestic violence, has worked in women's rights field for many years. She was a member of the Women's Bar Association and provided free legal assistance to women, including to the victims of domestic violence in the regions. She has participated in the exchange program on this subject in the United States and has also successfully completed a curriculum on domestic violence in the Women's Rights Academy, and has interned in several European countries within the framework of the program. She spoke about the legal status of women in Azerbaijan in the United Nations.
