A statement made by the Governor's Office says, “In some posts made via social media; It has been determined that calls have been made to organise various events in and around Taksim Square on the occasion of March 8, International Women's Day".
On Tuesday, March 8, 2022, Beyoğlu District Governorate said they would not allow any actions such as meeting, march, press release, sit-in, stand, set up tent, distribute leaflets, etc. in the Beyoğlu district.
