An inclusive step from the D18 movementv

On March 18, the D18 movement celebrated its 9th anniversary. The movement has also announced its government programme.

At the event, which was attended by journalists and civil society representatives, board members of the D18 movement read the movement's political programme.

In the "Human Rights and Freedoms" section of the programme, along with a number of features, it is emphasised that there should be no discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation:

"Everyone's rights and freedoms must be guaranteed, regardless of their race, ethnicity, faith, language, gender, sexual orientation, social class, faith, affiliation to political party, trade union or other public association."

Ahmad Mammadli, a member of the movement's board, said they had introduced such a programme for the first time during the movement's activities.
