Open call for “Leave No One Behind” festival

Queer Art Festival Baku/Nafas LGBTI is announcing an open call for Participants for the local film festival “LEAVE NO ONE BEHIND”.

The project includes a developed series of free-of-charge workshops that will continue from 14 May to 19 June 2022 in Baku.

Focusing on the UN's "No Leaving Behind" Agenda, workshops designed to highlight the perspectives of women and vulnerable communities in urban planning and to discuss issues and solutions to gender-based discrimination and social inequality in urban architecture will be organised between 11:00 and 17:00 on weekends and will be held in Baku Community Space.

During the workshops, participants will explore the manifestations of the UN Sustainable Development Goals in urban planning, and participate in training in scriptwriting, filming and editing.

All films made by the participants will be premiered and discussed locally, as well as transnationally between Azerbaijan, Georgia and Denmark, and in addition, short films will be submitted to the global “Film Mosaic” competition.

The deadline for applications is May 12.
