Training for Legal Professionals - Queerdian

Queerdian Initiative Group shares information about a series of trainings aimed at lawyers and human rights activists for the defense of LGBTIQ+ rights and freedoms, focusing on national legislation (and practice) related to the protection of LGBTIQ+ rights and freedoms, the precedent law of the European Court of Human Rights, as well as knowledge and skills related to communication strategies with marginalized individuals.

The training will be conducted by the legal expert Samed Rahimli on May 27-28, by lawyers Emin Abbasov and Tobby Collis on June 3, and by lawyer Efruz Kaya on June 10.

The training will take place between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM on the mentioned dates and will provide coffee and lunch breaks. Due to limited space, participation will only be confirmed for individuals attending all the training sessions. Synchronous translation will be provided in the relevant sections.
