SAMRA Shares Inclusive Message with New Track "Bərabərik"

Renowned artist SAMRA has released a new track titled "Bərabərik" (We’re equal) along with a stunning poster on Instagram.

The poster, adorned with the LGBTI+ flag, conveys a clear message of inclusivity and equality.

In the Instagram caption, SAMRA invites her followers to ponder the question, "What do you see in this picture?" While emphasising the universality of equal rights for everyone, she announces the release of "Bərabərik" with the symbol for transgender rights (⚧️).

"Bərabərik" offers not only a musical experience but also promotes diversity and unity. SAMRA reinforces the track's core message by sharing Article 25.3 of the Azerbaijan Constitution, which guarantees the equality of rights and freedoms for all, regardless of various factors.

The constitutional excerpt states: "The State shall guarantee the equality of rights and freedoms to everyone, irrespective of race, ethnicity, religion, language, sex, origin, property status, occupation, beliefs, or affiliation with political parties, trade union organisations or other public associations. Restrictions of rights and freedoms on the grounds of race, ethnicity, religion, language, sex, origin, beliefs, or political or social affiliation are prohibited."

By sharing this constitutional provision, SAMRA strengthens the central theme of "Bərabərik," calling for the promotion of a society where everyone enjoys equal rights and freedoms.
