LGBTQI+ community demands an investigation into the murder of a trans woman

Late on the night of March 12th, a trans woman Aytan was murdered. Information about the murder and photos related to the murder have spread amongst the LGBTQI+ community. Since that day, members of the community have been trying to obtain more detailed information about the murder but have been unsuccessful. They are demanding that detailed information about the crime, investigation into the murder, and arrest of the murderer be provided by sharing on social networks and by submitting requests to relevant authorities.

LGBTQI+ rights organisation Minority Azerbaijan has stated, "We support the demands of the community and call for a serious investigation into the murder, bringing the perpetrators to justice, and informing the public about this issue from the relevant authorities!"
