Trans woman influencer Mika Raun and her partner were beaten

Turkish influencer Mika Raun has revealed that she and her partner were subjected to severe violence a short while ago while vacationing in Antalya. She shared this information on her social media account.

"They attacked me and my boyfriend. I was beaten to death. They hit him multiple times, even though his mother and sister were there. And my boyfriend tried to stand up to these people on his own. It was so terrifying... We were attacked for minutes. I am being taken to the hospital."

It should be noted that Mika Raun had recently introduced her boyfriend to the public. The news of a trans woman being subjected to violence during Trans Pride Week is disheartening. The Antalya police should promptly investigate the incident and make a fair decision.
