Kazakhstan has once again proposed banning "LGBT propaganda"

A homophobic proposal was made by Majilis deputy Edil Zhanbyrshin.

In Kazakhstan, Majilis deputy Edil Zhanbyrshin demanded to ban "LGBT propaganda on all platforms." In his opinion, it is necessary to support the demands of a homophobic petition that has collected 50 thousand signatures.

Recall that in August, a public discussion of the petition "We are against open and hidden propaganda of LGBT in Kazakhstan" was held in Kazakhstan. The creator of the petition is the chairperson of the "Kazakhstan Union of Parents" Bagila Baltabayeva.

Edil Zhanbyrshin recalled last year’s petition and emphasized that "in just two weeks, the petition collected 50 thousand signatures." He believes that this shows the position of the people of Kazakhstan - "[LGBT] is alien to our national identity, the people openly oppose LGBT."
