The British embassy raised the LGBTI+ flag

Today, on the occasion of the International Day against Homophobia, Biphobia, Transphobia and Interphobia on May 17, the British Embassy in Azerbaijan raised the LGBTI+ flag.

The embassy said on its Facebook page:

“We're marking International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia by proudly raising the LGBT+ flag at the UK Embassy. No one should face hate, violence or abuse because of who they are or who they love. The UK is committed to championing LGBT+ rights internationally.”

It should be noted that for several years now, the British Embassy in Azerbaijan has been raising the LGBTI+ flag in front of the Landmark building to mark the International Day against Homophobia, Biphobia, Transphobia and Interphobia.
