Trans women were detained by the police

On the night of August 24, two trans women were detained by the police in the Khagani garden ("Malakan" garden) of the capital. The members of the community informed "Qıy Vaar!" platform about this.

The platform told "Minority Azerbaijan" that the policemen shaved the hair of one of the detainees and sentenced them to 10 days of administrative detention. It was said that they were detained for "making noise" and were asked not to come to that area.
