Training on advocacy

Nafas LGBTI Azerbaijan Alliance has announced a training on advocacy.

The training will focus on the United Nations' Universal Periodic Review (UPR) mechanism, which is used by LGBTQI+ activists from all over the world as a tool for advocacy.

Nafas LGBTI invites LGBTQI+s to participate in the training to enhance their advocacy skills both locally and internationally.

The training will provide a series of recommendations and advice on how to effectively utilise the UPR in the context of activism. Additionally, participants will have the opportunity to learn about drafting written reports, the acronyms used in the process, and developing successful advocacy strategies.

Trainer: Azad Bakhti, a transfeminist activist and Nafas volunteer

Date: July 22nd

Time: 12:00-17:00

Information about the venue will be provided to selected participants.
