ECOM launched campaign to popularise PrEP
ECOM is launched a campaign to popularise PrEP in EECA region.
ECOM, as part of the SoS_project 2.0, launched a campaign to promote pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) for HIV among men who have sex with men in the region of Eastern Europe and Central Asia.
“We want more representatives of the gay community to learn about PrEP and start taking it. We are also striving to make PrEP more accessible and attractive to all men who have sex with men,” - ECOM reported.
In order to make the promotional materials more interesting for the community, when developing them, ECOM was inspired by the idea of “bros”, a popular gay erotic fantasy, which is often found in gay stories and other thematic content.
The promotional materials that can be used for posts, stories, posters and leaflets are available in Russian and English. In addition, ECOM translated selected images into 7 national languages: Armenian, Georgian, Kazakh, Kyrgyz, Romanian, Tajik and Ukrainian. Unfortunately, there is no material in Azerbaijani language.
