November 25 Women's Platform: "We cannot get reliable information about Ali Malikov, Parvin Alakbarova and a female immigrant friend of ours"
“We are concerned about the health of our friends and we know they are in danger of deportation,” the platform said in a statement on its social media accounts.
The November 25 Women's Platform announced that they have not received any news from Ali Malikov, Parvin Alakbarova and a migrant woman who were detained on November 25, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, and that they have not been able to meet with a lawyer. The platform made the following statement on its social media account:
“We have not been able to receive reliable information about our migrant friends, Ali Malikov, Parvin Alakbarova and a migrant woman who were detained by police violence in Taksim on November 25, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, and we have still not been able to meet with a lawyer. It is being said that our friends who were said to be transferred to Arnavutköy Repatriation Center will be taken to Çatalca İnceğiz GGM today. We are concerned about the health of our friends and we know that they are in danger of deportation. We demand the immediate release of those detained. End the oppression of migrant women and LGBTI+ individuals!”
