Expedia, one of the world’s leading travel platforms, has compiled a list of the best summer vacation destinations that truly welcome LGBTQ+ people. The company conducted an extensive survey, highlighting several destinations.

The list includes both long-established LGBTQ+ hotspots and newer locations gaining popularity among queer travelers. Here’s where to go to enjoy sunshine without stress.

Brighton, United Kingdom

Brighton is a true symbol of queer freedom on the British coast. With its pebble beach, retro arcade machines, cozy bars and restaurants, and the extravagant Royal Pavilion, the city has long been a favorite destination for LGBTQ+ visitors.

Many British queers view Brighton as a "safe haven": it hosts one of the UK’s most vibrant Pride parades, features numerous queer bars, and is known for its open-minded locals.

Mykonos, Greece
