Gender Resource Centre: Talkline

The Gender Resource Centre has offered a new service for people who need psychological, social, legal support or just talk.

The LGBTI + Talkline is open for improving the social and psychological well-being of the queer community in the country, and the center said those in need will be provided with social workers and psychologists.

The Centre said that the call line with the contact number 055-451-00-50 will be active between 11:00 and 19:00 during the weekdays.

The Gender Resource Centre has been operating since 2020. The centre, a Queer-feminist platform, was established in response to the lack of safe space and resources for people of different genders and sexual orientations in Azerbaijan.

The centre aims to provide social, psychological and legal services and counseling, capacity building and empowerment, research and resource creation, and mobilise the community through the arts.
